Many people have great Courage. From Soldiers to Firefighters, from those that go to the most God Forsken places to help others that have noone else to those that run right into the flames or throw themselves under the bus to save a strangers life, just because they happen to be in the right place at the wrong time.
Cancer

Cancer…the word itself looks innocent enough but its the one word no one wants to hear their dr say. In a matter of seconds it is the one word that turns a life completely upside down and takes a certain future and makes it uncertain.
2 years ago my father heard those life changing words..You have cancer! He faced his diagnosis & treatment with strength and determination. He went through chemo and radiation and 6 months later all traces of the cancer he was diagnosed with was gone. My parents had their future back and everyone was going on with their lives.
We knew there was a chance at some point the cancer would come back but we did not expect it so soon. Because of the type of cancer my dad had he was getting checkups every three months. It was not something he wanted to do because this is the man that eats, sleeps and drinks golf lol and he hates missing a minute of golf but he knew he had to have the checkups. A couple months ago the scan showed a mass in his liver so the drs did a biopsy and we waited. Waiting is always the hardest part! The dr who did the biopsy told us the mass was outside the organs so everyone was breathing a sigh but that sigh of relief was quickly taken away when we saw the dr. The mass is the size of a baseball and it is in the liver. At this point there is not much the drs can do but try to shrink the mass and buy him more time. My dad is going through chemo and not giving up.
I am not sure if it is better knowing or not knowing. One thing I know for certain is I now know who I get my strength from. My dad. He just amazes me with his strength and how he is dealing with everything. It can’t be easy but he is still playing as much golf as he can, working in the pro shop and arguing politics with me.
No matter what happens the cancer can never take away what an incredible father I have!

What exactly is sl?
Second Life is a free online virtual world imagined and created by its Residents. From the moment you enter Second Life, you’ll discover a fast-growing digital world filled with people, entertainment, experiences and opportunity.
Second Life..its alot more than that to me. yea most have seen stuff on the news that portrays only the seedy side as it were but that is so far from what it is for me and most of the people I know!
#1 I get to do something I never thought I would ever do and that’s DJ.
#2 I have met alot of amazing people who have become family in my heart from all over the world.
#3 I get to see things in a virtual world I never have a chance to see in the real world. If only I was a millionaire could I. lol Parachuted off the Eiffel tower, been to the Kremlin, seen the works of Da Vinca, Yankee Stadium and alot more.
#4 Another thing I have no chance in hell in doing in the real world is owning a club. Yep did that too and loved it!!
One of the favorite parts for me is of course the music. I have always loved music and this lets me explore it even more. I have been introduced to so many different types of music through SL. Before Second Life if someone would have said EBM I would have said huh? What the hell is that? lol Now I am a huge fan!!
SL has also been a life saver for me. I went into it as a joke and no plans on staying. Actually got dragged into it kicking and screaming lol Found my first club within the first week and never looked back. lol There are people who understand some of the things I am going through. They have offered me friendship, a shoulder to lean on, advice and understanding. Some have been better friends and family to me than those I have in my real life.

Anonymous does not have a leader, does not have an infrastructure, and does not have a method of communication. All Anonymous members are self-appointed. The only rules of Anonymous is that you have to do what you think is right. This is one of the biggest reasons why people think they are so dangerous. Once thousands of people who don’t even know each other rise up against a cause unified under the same name, people flip out. As you may have learned by watching the news, some members of Anonymous are hackers. But remember, MOST OF ANONYMOUS IS NOT COMPRISED OF HACKERS. However, the hacker members of Anonymous have been doing a good job of “tidying” up the Internet by not allowing governments and organizations to assume control of it. It seems as though most anons (Anonymous members) nowadays are supporting freedom of information on the Internet. I’m 100% for them. Are you?

Change is coming
Posted: January 27, 2012 Filed under: General Stuff Leave a comment »I have been thinking about what to do with my blog for a while. I was debating whether to delete it because I am no writer but if I want to get better at writing deleting this blog won’t help that. Then I thought well lets just stick to Second Life stuff but we see how well that has worked. My RL has just affected my SL so much that its hard to stick to just SL talk. Sorry but all those that say SL is SL and RL is RL are wrong. SL will always be affected by RL and I am not ashamed of either life.
So your reading this and wondering what’s the point of this post? Well the answer is I am going to be changing my blog to include all lives. I have been finding I have alot to say about so many different things lately and tbh Facebook is not the place for that.
I will be working on changing the look of my blog and the purpose. Its going to be about anything I feel like writing about because hey it’s my blog and it should be ok to do that.
Another purpose of the change is because there is so many things in our world that I am just sick of. I hate the way people treat each other, pass judgements on other people, prejudices, the way the world today is just makes me shake my head alot and ask what is wrong with people.
This blog won’t be all stuff I think is wrong. It will also be about what is right and I won’t be ignoring SL or my health. As much as I would like to keep my health issues off the net I can’t for me. This blog will be my 100% outlet.
If you choose to read it cool if not that’s fine too because I am going to write for me. If you don’t agree with something I post please don’t take it personal. We all have our own take and opinions on things. Just be gentle lol
oh I will still be posting music. Music is my medicine
